After graduating with a Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology from Kangan Institute, Tawnee Donaldson moved to RMIT University Melbourne to complete her Bachelor of Design (Fashion)(Honours).

The graduate womenswear designer has strong investment in consumptive work and integrity of practice which has sparked an affection for handwork and refinement of detail.

What has grown from goals of constructing aesthetic visions has evolved into finding depth within the visions, and interrogation of the meaning that led to their curation. 

Focus has channeled its way towards the intricacies of purpose, of construction and details, and towards building lasting qualities and presence. 

Emotional experience and the capacities of feelings are the foundations that inform, with this feeding into establishing relationships between clothing and self.

Multi disciplinary exploration and intentions are set to generate and fully realize the impact of resonance and connection.
